Perfect and portal for travel, the battery-operated carbon monoxide alarm is powered by 2-AA alkaline batteries in the back of the unit that includes a slide-out battery door to provide immediate access to the batteries and a safety feature that makes it difficult to close the door without the batteries being installed. Using electrochemical sensor technology, the Kidde carbon monoxide alarm warns of dangerous conditions with a loud, 85-decibel pulsing alarm that detects the level of CO present. When it's time to replace the alarm, the alarm will chirp, indicating that it needs to be replaced. The Test-Hush feature silences the fire alarm for approximately 8 minutes. UL Certified. 10-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Meets requirements of UL 2034.
